SE is the safest region in the country.
Igbos like reporting these incidents so that moves can be made to crush them on time. Other regions try to cover things
This gives a false impression of frequency in the wrong areas.

You know the difference between us, we never denied the skull mining or any other criminality in our region. Most of the skull miners you see on parade were actually apprehended by the locals and handed over to the police. We fight crime here, not deny or defend it like you do over there.

You know SE wasn't that safe and I’m sure you are shocked that they are portraying it to be.😂

Unless statistics have suddenly started translating to reality, which is contrary to what you all believe when confronted with other statistics from the same or a similar source.

For example, would you still believe that this data accurately represents reality if the actual question of "how safe were the regions" is asked, with the results presented as percentages using the same data?

Shame on those who like to amplify everything they perceive as wrong in the southeast in a bid to drive investors away from the East.

If a pregnant woman spits, they will report it with a sensational headline as though the Southeast was on fire.

If a goat 🐐 stays in Labour beyond the period it should, their propaganda machine will report that the southeast has been set ablaze.

But despite all this, the truth always comes out and proves that the Southeast is the safest region in the country; and it has been so for almost the last ten years or even more.

That’s why I like what Alex Otti is doing in Abia. Now, he has taken bad PR away from Aba. Very soon investors will start trooping into Aba and all their agenda will come to nought.

You can’t curse a covenant people!👌

You need to understand that Easterners amplify everything so what other people bear, the Easterners will not keep quiet. So the insecurity in the SE is not as bad as it seems

If there’s any group that abhours statistics, it is actually you and the man you like to adore.

You people started with doubting ANAP Foundation statistics.

You doubted BantuPage Statistics.

You doubted Stears Statistics.

You ridiculed Obi’s quotation of statistics at many fora.

And you culminated it when your lord and saviour asked, “na statistics we go chop” and you supported and amplified it, didn’t you?

Pray, tell us when we have ever abhorred statistics in the level I’ve enunciated for you now.

I’ll wait!

Don’t go back to this fact checking joke you guys engaged in during the election please.

I call it a joke because sometimes if Obi says the number is 50, you lots will go on nonsense fact check and come back to say Obi was wrong because the number is actually 49. Is that what you want me to engage in again? Nahhh!

We are talking about who abhors statistics more, and not silly fact check.

Okay let’s see who abhors statistics more.
Let’s actually determine the safety level of the regions using this data. Although it can be said to be oversimplified to say the safety level of a region is determined by the number of reported abductions and fatalities, but if this data is to be used at all, let it be used in a more representative way. And since you guys already fell in love with this data. Let’s use it then.

Safety level by zone:
1. South -South= 99.37%
2. South-West= 98.56%
3. North -East= 98.47%
4. South-East= 97.56%
5. North-West= 94.48%
6. North-Central= 93.14%

Data used below and workings attached

Fatalities
1.North-East topped recorded 3,412 fatalities
2. North-West zone recorded 2,290 fatalities
3. North-Central recorded 2,002 fatalities
4.South-West recorded 774 fatalities.
5. South-South recorded 698 fatalities.
6. South-East recorded 558 fatalities

3. North -East had 795 cases.
4. South -South had 186 cases
5. South-West had 169 cases.

2. North-Central 29,252408
3. North -East 26,263,866
4. South -South 28,829,288

Don't mind them, if you calculate the figure based on percentage SW scores the lowest percentage.

The number of SE here is low because many of their brothers have fled that region and now adding to the number of NC, SW, and SS, Chinaza readily comes to mind

Statistics I can trust...
You need to see the number of people that descended on South east during the Christmas festive season.
Igbo are a naturally sane and peaceful people.
If not for Nigeria, Igbo would be in a totally difference level of socioeconomic and cultural development.
Our local vigilantes are also getting better... and better.
Some of the local vigilantes display the level of investigative and crime fighting skills that even the government law enforcement officers can't match. I get impressed each time I watch videos of them busting criminals in their localities.
So, I believe this statistics as far as South east is concerned. cool

I am taking this with a pinch of salty salt..

SBM Intelligence, also known as SB- Morgen Intelligence, is a market intelligence and geopolitical research firm based in Lagos [1], Nigeria [2], primarily focusing on Africa [3]. The concept for SBM Intelligence was conceived by Nigerian journalist Cheta Nwanze, who identified data gaps that needed addressing. In 2013, he, along with Chinedu Ozordi and Stanley Ikechukwu, founded SBM Intelligence.

The firm offers research, consulting, security monitoring, predictive analysis, business intelligence, and risk advisory services to clients across various sectors. Notably, SBM Intelligence has conducted critical surveys on food inflation using the Jollof Rice Index [4] and has highlighted the cost of kidnapping [5] in Nigeria.

Since its establishment, SBM Intelligence has provided consulting services to government entities, civil society, private institutions, multilateral agencies, and Big Four consultants. These services aim to offer in-depth insights into West Africa, assisting in policy guidance, investment decisions, intervention planning, as....

See naked lie.
How can SW cover what happens there when they have the highest number of immigrants ( more than 11 million Igbos have migrated there for greener pastures) they also have largest media presence and it is a tradition that they report the slightest infractions so that they are quickly curtailed.
It is Igboland and Igbos who cover negative news or are accustomed to these negativities.

Recently,Alex Otto and co went to a market and 50 less human parts bodies were found and some more 100 rotten corpses.

Recently,it was reported that Igbos were deserting SE because of the massive ritualism going on there, yet they were not reported until it became a pandemic.

No Nigerian will believe this fake stats from 3 Ip.obs.
Reality shows otherwise.
