I have a Model United Nations conference to attend in Washington around UN Headquarters environs.

I also have booked a guided Tour at the UN Headquarters in Washington.

Which USA will I have to apply for to attend these events?

Should I apply for a C2 Visa or a B1/B2? 🤔

Any tips and suggestions would be highly appreciated.

By the way the conferences are two.
One at New York around UN environs, and the second one at Washington.

They're model UN conferences, so they're hosting them in close proximity to the UN offices. In conjunction with the UN guided tours we booked.

So please which Visa category should I apply for. Is it C2 Visa or B1/B2?

Well you didn't mention NYC and that's where UN is, also where we have the tallest and most expensive Nigerian government-owned building outside Nigeria, built by Babangida, our Maradona!

We also booked a UN tour at the two locations.

So which type of Visa do you think we it's the right one that will enable me to attend the Model UN conference and at the same time attend my UN tour.

B1/B2. You can confirm from the organizers.

C-2 Visa will do.. get to Diplomatic drive if you're in Abuja, American Embassy is located there.

I read that I don't need to book appointment at the embassy before going. Also read it's free to apply. No visa fee.

Do I need to bring receipt of Hotel reservation and onward flight ticket?
