A Federal High Court sitting in Abuja has ordered the Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC) to approve the registration of the Nigerian Law Society (NLS). The order for the approval of registration for NLS gives Lawyers in the country a new professional body. NLS is a rival association to the Nigerian Bar Association (NBA) which has existed as the sole law association since 1933.
