Do you know more than a former CBN governor? Even Moghalu, a former deputy CBN governor is in support of the movement.
Being a former CBN Gr doesvn't gaurantee success but one who has the foresight & goodwill.
Don't be surprised he is planning to tap from the national treasury with his goons.

I like Sanusi’s stand on the issue.

Our major problem in this country is that we are not from one tribe, and our tribal diversity is our only problem.
Nope... Our problem is religion and when you look deep religion influence tribalism... And after religion is greed after greed is ignorance...
Look at China and most countries that are not invested in religion but with lots of diverse tribes, they live fine as one country.... You will speak truth to one Nigerian in which he or she knows it's truth but will ignore you for being right and so many other things...
The list is long but first is religion second is greed third is ignorance...
Do you actually think things are this expensive even with inflation?
I am also part of the greed and took advantage... E.g I bought a 2 boxes in lagos at the rate of 20k transported it to PH with 1500 and sold it for 58k and told the customer things had skyrock and transportation and so on. We all know the truth to this but ignore it... Cos we want to insult burn down whatever we don't like either personally or politically.
I hope you get my point.

He is simply saying the truth.Even Kingsley Moghalu a former cbn deputy governor is in support of the relocation..Dont assume that he is planning to tap from the national treasury. Just try and proof him wrong with facts.

Sanusi, Shehu Sanni, ElRufai - though he has a few issues, are progressive northerners

That's true, most of the workers are politicians wife and children of highly placed people, they have built their life in Abuja and they will want to retire in Abuja.

The Lagos state office has more space than the Abuja to accommodate the move. Moreso, how many of their staffs are moving to Lagos?

[The US is made up of different ethnic groups but the problem is the idea. The north doesn't care about progress. All thy want is power. Look at what Buhari sink us to. If Tinubu succeed is miracle. But then he is to be blame to, his greed for power makes him help Buhari by any means even when the sign is clear that Buhari is not good. quote author=cocolacec post=128117526]

We are a prison of Nations with different goals and aspirations.Nigerians is a country where Russians,British,Germans,Scandinavians,Turks,ItaliansGyspsies are forced into one country, what do you think will happen to such country?
US is made up different groups of Migrant population. The people you see in America ruling are migrants.Europe is the only continent that fits perfectly into the Nigerian situation.
Nigeria belong to indigeneous people with their land and border and a ruling king before the Europeans came to shatter the structures forcing enemy tribes into one nation.

Sanusi was a fantastic CBN governor and i trust what he says.

Did you all read the part he mentioned that CBN employees were mostly Political Abuja big men's connect?
They would not want to live outside Abuja.

I personally know my classmates who got CBN jobs years back. Their parents were top political appointees or friends of ministers and governors so I believe what Mr Sanusi is saying 100%
You hardly see an ordinary Nigerian graduate without connect working in CBN.
I know Three bothers in CBN who's father was a former house of reps member.
Is it another of my classmate who got a weak 2.2 degree who also works in CBN because his dad was one time Taraba state APC chairman.

They will fight back cos they live in their parents mansions in Abuja, are used to the Abuja soft life and get promoted through their parents connect.

They do not care about the job but the salaries and other packages. They are lazy to work, sometimes they go to work 3 times a week. Or close early.

Alot is happening inside these juicy offices filled with political connect.

I have seen this with my own eyes and know alot of my mates in these offices, CBN, FIRS ETC....

Corruption will always fight back.
I support this move..
They should relocate and get to work or resign.
It's connection. Not connect. This American English you people push around makes everything sound dumb.

This is how you people kill your minds with bitterness. Someone says something publicly, you're making another unsubstantiated assertion. Shame!

The problem is that the CBN is full of northerners who have probably never left the north, they are afraid that this relocation will take them from their comfort zones. If you go to CBN head office in Abuja, you will think you are in Kano, even the southerners are dressing like northerners so as to get favors from the powerful northerners at the top 😁😁

Wrong move when we have urgent problem that needs attention.

Because of #650/ ltr fuel

Gaari is #800 per rubber
Rice #1800
Beans #1800
Yam = #1200 per one

Why can't government look for how to crash d fuel price so that other things will come down
Apart from the fuel, which part of the country do you still buy these foodstuffs this cheap huh

“The problem we have now is that many employees are children of politically exposed persons and their Abuja life and businesses are more important than the CBN work.

Wow. Oga Sanusi is the most sensible Northern elite!

If most of our leaders can have this mindset Nigeria will be better.

El Rufai is another Northern elite with straight forward thinking sense but for religion wahala around his neck.
El Rufai and Sanusi are the most hardcore jihadists in the whole of Nigeria

This is the point. I'm yet to see how moving a department to Lagos would affect the north. Stupid people everywhere. Instead of worrying about insecurity, they're worried about CBN relocating a department.

When i was about to license Jaiz bank there was a lot of religious noise from CAN etc. Even enlightened people like Okey Emelamah were going to sue me to court on religious grounds. I ignored it and licenced the bank. Nothing happened.

“A christian Governor after me licenced at least two more non- interest banks. No one is even noticing again.

“Ethnic and religious bigots will always shout. The CBN should rise above it and just do what needs to be done. It is a very unpopular and difficult job and the Governor needs to be tough.”
CAN is part of Nigeria's problem, especially, the one under pastor Oritsejeafor - he was too divisive.

Even if it is Vanguard, your comment will not be different.
Holding on to the Nation to hide your bigotry and stupidity is clear to the discerning.
Honestly, they are a bunch of useless people. Because of their hate for Tinubu, they will oppose any move he makes even if it will be beneficial to them and their families. That's how stupid they are wired.
