Moroccan and Senegalese players dominated the selections.

In the list, Morocco’s Achraf Hakimi, Nayef Aguerd, Sofyan Amrabat and Azzedine Ounahi were selected.

Senegal’s team came second with three players,” Kalidou Koulibaly, Ismaila Sarr and Lamine Camara.

Emilio Nsue and goalkeper Jesus Owono were selected from Equatorial Guinea squad.

Democratic Republic of Congo’s Arthur Masuaku and Gelson Dala of Angola completed the selection of best X1.

The interesting part is qualified group A teams are against qualified group C teams. The results will affirm which group strong pass.

They also pair Congo and Egypt against themselves as par both of them draw all their entire matches. Their match drawing spree will end when they slug it out together.

Na group stage 11 we go chop? The Super Eagles had the best performances at the group stage in Afcon 2021. The entire team was almost eligible to make the best 11 group stage but we all know how it ended. Elimination at the very beginning of knockout rounds. We no even play two matches. It is better we grow into the tournament than fly high at the beginning only to be brought down with just one shot.

I would have nominated Ola Aina of the Super eagles but then again Hakimi is miles ahead of him in this competition (with a goal and assist account).

I would have nominated Calvin Bassey but my guy didn't start the first game and his position has not been fixed.

I would have nominated William Ekong but he missed a match to injury...

As for Oshimen, he hasn't come to this AFCON yet

Its a good development that no super eagle is there you know,this will spur the super eagles to play well. Our super eagles dont play well if they ars showered with praises,it has a way of making them over confident which eventually leads to losing. ...Nigeria 2:0 against Cameroon tomorrow
