This match is going to be TOUGH

you need to go and review Angola last two matches and see how fast and deadly those boys are. Our defenders will be tested by fire on Friday but I hope we win.

Honestly, we are facing a tough opponent there. Angola plays fast paced football. All their goals are surprised touches, and fast too. Our defenders need to tame their point man - Gelson Dala. There is this other one on dreads - Mogolunlu. Our defenders need to mark them properly. Thankfully, Angola defence no too strong. They conceded two easy goals in the qualifiers. I hope SE wins this one. I will be rest assured after beating them

They are not ordinary. Even with the might of Kanu , OKOCHA and others , they spoiled our chance to go to world cup in Germany. In 1989, they were part of the cause of Okparaji death on the field of play at National Stadium Surulere Lagos .If Eagles underrate them , they do it at their own perry. At this level of the tournament, no small team again. They don't give up until the final whistle.

Which might are you talking about. Okocha that was always playing to the gallery. The super eagles made the greatest impact when we had rashidi, the bull amokachi, amuneke, Finidi George, oliseh, eguavoen, Taribo west, Stephen Keshi, Wilson oruma before you talk about Kanu and Okocha in the national team. After these guys were gone, the super eagles were a shadow of themselves.

Kindly desist from giving biased analysis. If you've watched super Eagle's games in this AFCON, then you'll understand that Iwobi isn't as creative as you're trying to paint him to be.

I however, applaud his press, whenever the ball is lost.

That is due to the tactical set up of the team. A back five that bypasses the midfield and launches the ball straight to the front is not playing to Iwobi's strength and maybe that's a good thing because this is tournament football. Remember the coach is a disciple of Jose Mourinho and he plays as such

You don't know what you were saying, was Okocha not part of those you mentioned. Okocha was the bridge between 94 and 2006 sets of Eagles. Go and checked the records, AFCON is not complete without mentioning the name of Austen JJ Okocha. He was an icon and legend.

AUSTIN OKOCHA AND NWANKWO KANU WERE CAPPED IN SUPER EAGLES BEFORE TARIBO WEST AND WILSON ORUMA AUSTIN OKOCHA WAS AGAINST COTE D'IVOIRE IN ABIDJAN IN 1993, NWANKWO KANU WAS IN A FRIENDLY WE LOST(3:1) TO SWEDEN ENROUTE USA 1994 FIFA WORLD CUP.

Angola won't even have a shot on target just like cameroun. Mark my words. Angola are out. Remember their first choice goal keeper has been red carded and won't be available to face the dreaded lion of Africa. Osimhen

You are ignorant. Which goals did Okocha score in 1994. What was his contribution in 1994?

Why this bad blood against Iwobi? Many Nigerians just enjoy football without having a proper knowledge of the technicalities of the game.
Iwobi is a very creative and intelligent player. There's currently no player in Nigeria's midfield who can match his abilities. See how he sprays killers passes and creates beautiful chances from nothing.
He surely has moments when he falters due to loss of composure but that's something that can be addressed with proper game psychology. I believe his best is still to come..
Let's encourage him!!

Is it the same match we watched that you are analyzing or another one? Same Iwobi that is almost invisible in all the matches? Sometimes I wonder whether that dude is on the pitch.

Aina does better passes than him.
