Bandits Kidnap Federal Housing Authority Director Close To Military Camp In Abuja

Aondo Ver, a director at Federal Housing Authority, Federal Capital Territory (FCT) has been kidnapped by gunmen suspected to be bandits.

SaharaReporters gathered the incident happened at Pambara New Extension, Bwari Central Area of Federal Capital Territory at about 12:30 am on Thursday.

Pambara New Extension is about 200 metres away from the military camp and checkpoint in Bwari.

The kidnappers were said to have gained access through the fence after cutting the barb wires.

SaharaReporters also gathered that all attempts by the vigilantes in the area to rescue the victim were abortive because they were poorly armed.

However, Josephine Adeh, FCT police spokesperson, was not reachable when SaharaReporters attempted to reach her.

While Wike, with a bottle of 40yrs old whiskey in his hand, is still begging Abuja kidnappers to repent, the director at Federal Housing Authority was kidnapped.

This is what happens when you support illegitimacy.

The director should tell the kidnappers the ailment he's suffering from, cos the last government official that was kidnapped shared a testimony on how the kidnappers used plantain/banana leaf to cure his sickness.

I drove past this estate the other day on my way to Bwari. The happenings in the FCT is frightening. Sad thing is that these areas are the places where low and middle income earners can afford to live and build houses. The highbrow areas are out of the reach of almost everyone living and working in the FCT.

I would have made sense and people would feel joyed when this kidnappers graduate to top corrupt officials in government and making them develop the feeling that their security is useless when the strike.

I want to see them put this corrupt officials on their toes.

Atleast, only then, will they know they have to do something serious to curb the insecurity in the country to the minimum.
