Not to bother you with lot of forth and back comments.

Which country do you really want to compare with Ghana in west africa , let's do comparison side by side. And see if Ghana hasn't make a progress. Which country do you want to choose or will you compare both?

I am a factual individual, Ghana hasn't done well but it has done better than those country you are trying to compare her with
Why can't we compare ourselves with the best? With Europe? Or even the 'comparable' Asia, south America countries we've seen rise from poverty to riches? Like the Brazils, Singapores, Koreas, etc?

In west Africa the big boys are 4, Nigeria, Ghana, cote d'Ivoire, Senegal in that order. You go by human development index, as it should be, Cape Verde is most developed followed by Ghana cote divoire TOGO Nigeria. Small less than 1million people c.verde is insignificant in the scheme of things so essentially, Ghana is the most developed in the subregion. No problem

You go by GDP, we've fallen out of the top 10 in Africa. Cote d'Ivoire has overtaken us. In fact our position in a lot of rankings are PRECARIOUS to the extent that the least displacement, we'd be 'overthrown'

If the Congos and other countries should get just a little serious with their lives, Ghana we may not feature favourably in a lot of rankings. Like how we age-cheated and dominated the under 17s but immediately scientific age checking was introduced, we're struggling to win laurels

That's what you should be concerned about. Not on whether we're better than war torn Liberia/Sierra Leone, or 'poorer' Senegal, 'security-challenged' Nigeria etc. We've a decent population/land size, we've lake Volta, we're more homogeneous, we're not landlocked, we're HUMAN/MINERAL RESOURCE-RICH etc, BUT with FEWER PROBLEMS, so that we should EASILY become a DEVELOPED ECONOMY, not the piecemeal thing we're doing

Here there's virtually no opposition to the mismanagement of our leaders. Look at European farmers block roads, disrupt society etc to protest poor agric policies. But here we'd be suffering and be quiet. And instead of our leaders to take advantage of this 'freedom' to do monumental stuff for us, no, they're busy either enriching themselves or doing MEDIOCRE stuff

Etc etc. we should learn how to 'beautify' stuff, or we could have money but our spaces would keep looking ugly. Buildings/roads must be well laid out in straight lines etc. Tech for example has more modern beautiful buildings than Legon but legon's well laid out plan, uniform colour of buildings, greenery etc make Legon appear prettier in my opinion. That's how we should organise our spaces. Etc etc

Nigerians cannot afford to pay the electricity bills Ghanaians pay.

Give Ghana to Nigeria and they'll run it down to make it another Nigeria
Same electricity that we play hide and seek with? That I know people who'd even remove their outside bulbs so they can afford prepaid? How many of us even use air conditioning in our very hot climate? There're different types of Nigerians and I know Nigerians who pay 'top cedi' for stuff here. I've Nigeria in laws and they pay 200 cedi every 2 weeks for prepaid for example. Aden?

Yes Nigerians may eventually run Ghana down with crime, dru.gs etc BUT they'd give us good infrastructure, beautify our spaces etc. We should learn to beautify/properly lay out our spaces and someone like me i won't complain too much

Small small we're getting there, where properly laying out our spaces would become commonplace. Growing up I thought it was normal to have houses without toilets, or roads without sidewalks because I didn't see these. We can't be having these basic problems in this modern era. What stops a DCE/MCE from insisting people have toilets in their homes? Let's do better, Ghana

You don't walk the day you were born , you start by crawling. World bank has classified us as low middle income country. This was arrived by what we are earn and against what we spend . All the above country you want to juxtaposed Ghana are not low middle income country. They are high middle income or fully industrialized.

In west Africa the big boys are 4, Nigeria, Ghana, cote d'Ivoire, Senegal in that order. in west africa , sub region , using GDP per capital ( imf standard) Ghana is the most developed bar carpe verde followed by Nigeria , and next by cote de voire , Togo isn't included in top four . Benin republic even came before Togo ( imf report not vaxx).i will not talk much about cape verde not because of its size but because of what it produces . It produces way less to be consider anything significant on the scheme of things

You go by GDP, we've fallen out of the top 10 in Africa. Cote d'Ivoire has overtaken us. In fact our position in a lot of rankings are PRECARIOUS to the extent that the least displacement, we'd be 'overthrown
lies , Ghana remain the largest country with the biggest gdp in west africa bar Nigeria.

Provide evidence that we are not doing well.

If the Congos and other countries should get just a little serious with their lives, Ghana we may not feature favourably in a lot of rankings. Like how we age-cheated and dominated the under 17s but immediately scientific age checking was introduced, we're struggling to win laurels
Bullshit , this is non starter , give us evidence that those 17s world cup we dominate are based on cheating. There are many things that goes into sports and not necessarily because of age difference, technicality , fees and morals . All this are not what you easily come by. You strategies for them . Senegal ( the last year afcon champion is out of the recent tournament , I guess they cheated too when the won last year .

That's what you should be concerned about. Not on whether we're better than war torn Liberia/Sierra Leone, or 'poorer' Senegal, 'security-challenged' Nigeria etc. We've a decent population/land size, we've lake Volta, we're more homogeneous, we're not landlocked, we're HUMAN/MINERAL RESOURCE-RICH etc, BUT with FEWER PROBLEMS, so that we should EASILY become a DEVELOPED ECONOMY, not the piecemeal thing we're doing
we are in the regional block competing for the same bread thrown at us. Infact nearly all west africans country are in the same advantageous position as Ghana . So if Ghana is doing well better than them , then there is only one thing we can say , there is a better governance here.

Are you saying all this problem is partaning to Ghana alone and our neighbors are free of such corruption.

Etc etc. we should learn how to 'beautify' stuff, or we could have money but our spaces would keep looking ugly. Buildings/roads must be well laid out in straight lines etc. Tech for example has more modern beautiful buildings than Legon but legon's well laid out plan, uniform colour of buildings, greenery etc make Legon appear prettier in my opinion. That's how we should organise our spaces. Etc etc
now I know you don't know what you are saying .

Legon host building to the most beautiful hospital in west africa that is ugmc , how you arrived at the level of saying tech has more beautiful building than Legon is still what I don't understand. I am not interested in getting to the details of which one is more beautiful.

But naturally, Legon has everything tech will dream about . It is not just about greenery, it is also about following artistic designs .regardless of who you are , either complete as a human or handicapped, you should be able to enjoy university environment.

quite a significant number of people use air-conditioning. It may be something special for you like it was 20 years ago but not now when even zongo boys have them.
For this reason, most people are above life line consumption.

Good you said you know them in Ghana and not Nigeria.
200 cedis is like the normal now in electricity consumption for 1 bedrooms. Now ask yourself how many Nigerians in Nigeria can pay between 30,000 and 60,000 naira for electricity every month.

If Nigerians can't provide good infrastructure in Nigeria hence the country is far behind on infrastructure, what makes your think they'll be able to build infrastructure here ? Have you even seen Nigerian spaces and how awful they are (no pun intended)?
You sound funnier than ever

You were probably living in a zongo because those are the only places where houses didn't have toilet.
Not in this era where even village houses have

Nice one. What do you think about freedom Jacob caesar, as our leader?
I honestly don't know when he made that decision to contest for the presidency, but I think he should have taken certain steps that could have given him that credibility he needed to earn the support of the people mostly importantly the youth.

He made quite a few mistakes-such as
-taking a foreigner (a Belgian slay queen) as his spokesperson is a no no for most Ghanaians.
-not been very open and straight forward about his source of wealth (today it is this, tomorrow it is that),
- not coming down to the level of the ordinary Ghanaian( too flashy),
-his dressing is too extravagant for the average Ghanaian politician,
-his "saviour" mentality is also not going to help him,
-no clear communication about his core policies and what he can do; Ghanaians have outgown that style of policy communication where you just come and say "I will provide more jobs or "I will build more schools", especially when you have no track record of doing so as a politician. He should rather be providing practical steps as to how he is going to go about building more schools without, for example over spending the budget.
-he doesnt seem to have a real understanding of Ghana's problems and the practical steps he will taken to lead us out of it.
-his "man-behind-the-mask" strategy is dead on arrival.
-Correct me if I am wrong but his real estates are expensively priced in dollars (the same problem that got us where we are) another red flag.

All the aforementioned in my opinion are going to affect his ability to pull that much needed momentum to make any meaningful imoact in the election.

As to how he will perform when given the nod, I will just for the benefit of the doubt assume he will do well.

but seriously Nigeria is one funny country oo😂🤣

You have oil, Someone has managed to put indians together to build a huge refinery and he can't get fuel to refine hence the refinery has added to the problem it was supposed to solve because it has to import crude with dollars you don't have.
