I've been here quite for a while and I've created different trends about japa, I seriously believe in that because I don't see any hope for Nigeria, well good thing is I have about 25M now and sadly, the agent told me ill need to have a closing balance of 45M to apply for a study permit.
He said canada and uk now, one needs to have about 25M just to show for proof of living thats asides school fees and other things, im utterly disappointed, any advice??

Why using agent. If could work hard and have 25m. Then you can find universities in Europe online yourself and apply.

It's all about decision, time and research.
Germany
Malta
Etc.

For Germany, you only need 10k euro a block account.

Malta, they just need statement of account. The university will arrange everything for you.

Agent again!!! Una no dey ever learn lesson. Every information you need is on nairaland. Pick the country you want and read through the thread on travel section, ask your questions there too.

If u no mind the cold....Finland is another good place if u can take the study route...No block account like Germany and Belgium.....u use ur bank statement. 6720€ proof of funds...(thats less than 8M)

Health insurance is not like UK that u pay the government ...u get ur own cheap insurance from companies available ...u won't pay more than 250-400€ per year...

Tuition can be around 8-12k depending on the course...and they offer tuition waivers of around 4k for international student

U get ur citizenship after 4 years and Finland counts ur 2 years during masters degree as part of the 4 years....

Student works 30hrs per week
