**(This analysis is based only on the figures on the table alone, and not backed-up by any historical facts or data..) Nigeria and Cote D'Ivoire have almost the same mindset. Once they reach Semi-final, they tend to relax. Until they got beaten. Then, they wake up, and try their best not to go home at the 4th place. (This describes the many bronze medals) Ghana tends to be somewhat better than Nigeria and Cote D'Ivoire in their mindset. But in their own case, they tend to relax at the finals. (The too many silver medals led to this conclusion) Cameroon and Egypt are the teams who tend to always give in their best all the way to the end.

I think I agree with you. Nigeria has more bronze medal than Egypt, Ghana, Cameroon and Senegal join together. |

Oboto700:You don't have any Opinion. Yet when someone has an opinion, you call the person “dumb”. And instead of you to just dispute the person's opinion with your own superior opinion, you just ended up talking in circles. And you think you're not part of the problems we have in this country?? You're one of those empty noise-makers who have absolutely nothing to say, yet they are busy making lots of noise, as if they know what they're saying.. But when the microphone is given to them, they would be repeating the same statements over a million times. And you finally agreed that Cameroon are very very strong even in the finals?? Nigeria won silver 4 times. And it was to Cameroon they lost to 3 out of the four times? Are we not even saying the same thing here? |

Oboto700:Go back and read again.. Where exactly in the original-post did you see all those words you used up there in your comment?? Like.. When someone says “THEY TEND TO RELAX”, is it not supposed to be an observed TREND.?? .. How come it entered into your brain and started sounding like “WE ALWAYS LOST MOTIVATION”?? Are you for real.?? ... Mista-man,, you're not normal like-this abbegg. ... Let's even look at it very well.. We reached semi-finals 16 times. And we lost the finals 9-times.. Only to wake up after the first loss to struggle to win the third-place 8-whooping times out of the 9-times we lost the finals?? Is that how dearly we so much love the third-place?? |

@BluntCrazeMan, nothing like "tend to relax". The table simply implies that on average, Nigeria often falls within the 3rd best in Africa. At various times, Cameroon & Egypt were predominantly the Strongest in Africa. Ghana to an extent, in olden days. But this AFCON 2023 is different, all the big guns (Top 5) are out. |

Very correct. There is sth about Super Eagles and Semi Final. One kind of demon or complacency sets in and then crash, only to get serious again in order to get Bronze Since I started following Super Eagles -2000 till date, Nigeria has never lost a 3rd place match |

GanagiBitrus:I am yet to understand what made my analysis totally wrong. (That-is,, taking note of the fact that I first put a caveat, that every conclusions were based on the table of medals ALONE) |

Deogratiasfx:You understood what I was saying. And they better work hard and overcome that Nonsense complacency this time around ooo. Let them not come and say that South-Africa prepared very well -- blaa-blaahh-blaa |

BluntCrazeMan:If Brazil & Argentina were part of Africa, most of our AFCON medals would be Bronze. Would that imply that we "tend to relax" in S/Finals? |
