I need a honest opinion on which phone to go for.
I have a budget of N80,000 only. Honestly, that's the much I can afford.

My current phone (Tecno Pop 2 power) bought in August, 2019 has developed fault (humming sounds on all calls at the other end, though at my end it's very clear).

The phone must be able to deliver not just calls. I use it as a camera (for passport photographs), internet services (as Modem) or online registration, etc.

Please gurus, help recommend a good phone new or used (though I am afraid of the used phones in Nigeria, as some are worked on and may pack up sooner than expected).

Redmi 12C is a pretty decent phone. There's a 3/64 and a 6/128 GB variant. I got the 3gb for 60,700 at July last year.

It should be way costlier now though.

IPHONE from 7 and above IS BEST FOR PICTURES....


personal experience with TECNO has been the CAMON brand and the pics is as good as IPHONE.

Finally got Infinix Smart 8 @#98,000.

Mek I rest. Everyday price d increase.

One thing I observed in all the phone shops I called in is that onece you mention the phone, they will ask you to let them check their invoice to know the cost only to check the price in Jumia. Despite the price on their catalogue, they will sell at the Jumia price.

Jumia as now become price regulator for the phone market
