And we have a navy that cost the nation billions of naira yearly for personnel and equipment and Tantita has apprehended more oil thieves than the useless white uniforms since their creation.

Can you just imagine the extent this level of stealing has been going on all these years.
Untill the main actors are arrested and sent to life in jail then this madness can never stop.
The main actors are the elite in our society, the so called shakers and movers of our society are the ones who can bank toll these kind of operation.

The few of us that do own ships and super tanker will not and cam never Indulge in such sabotage.
Our so called politicians should be watched

You own a ship or boat?

Economic saboteurs should be given life sentences.

The navy should live up to its name. We need more arrests, public shaming of all oil thieves and speedy prosecutions.

Kudos Tompolo

The Naval Generals have been feeding fat on this for far too long. If FG engages private mercenaries to deal with the bandits, in 2 months they will succeed. Saboteurs from within in all facets of government are those responsible for the our economic challenges.

All the ship that bring in goods from China to the USA, Canada etc, do not go back empty, they all go with stolen crude from Nigeria. Take it to the bank, that is why Nigeria can never meet OPEC schedule for Nigeria any time soon

All of a sudden, a single individual has become more useful than a country's Naval investment.

No be juju be that? Is that not a joke?

The Navy has these security installations known as Falcon's Eye whose primary responsibility is to keep tneir eyes on the nation's maritime radar and immediately accost, apprehend and intercept any intruding and unauthorized incursion by any vessel.

So if Putin or crazy Kim Yong Un decides to send a warship to destroy Nigeria's FPSO storage at sea, is that the manner they will have smooth access to our critical infrastructures without any interception by the Navy?

Abeg, make we stop to dey deceive ourselves.

Just appoint Tompolo Chief of Naval staff already.

Nansense!

What is oil theft? Did they just fetch the crude oil from somewhere?

#Perhaps government officials at crude oil facilities filled the vessel ....

It's no longer a business as usual. There are multiple layers of security now watching one another activities and you don't know who's who even within same security agency.
