Yellow and Red cards were once considered crazy. Today they have become a standard. Backpass to goal keepers for them to catch used to be a thing, today they are archaic. Football always needs new innovations.

No player would want to rest why others are still playing only if he want to play against his team or coach. Even the substituted players do get angry at times for been substituted

Well, it sounds reasonable and as warning to players who have intention to commit such offences...
This is going to shape football in another dimension and avoid injuries.

Players will abuse it. Once they are tired they will collect the blue card to rest.

I'm almost sure the Americans have a big say in this. Why water down the sport? A man is breaking away ... he needs to be brought down and fouled.... what's wrong with that? This has already been addressed with free kick .... penalty kick. .... or depending on the tackle.... red card and the person kicked out of the game.

It sounds so unreasonable. They are just looking for an acceptable ways to manipulate games results with little or no backlash.

Football is a game of passion and emotion, foul is also part of the game.
