When people say inflation is everywhere, I agree, but Nigeria's inflation is something else.

The first graph below shows gas prices over a decade in L.A, USA. Notice that though there are spikes, they are still relatively smooth over a long period of time.

Compare that to the huuuge instantaneous spike in Nig petrol price and the accompanying spike in some commodities across the country.

that was the point a major decision was made in the oil sector i.e fuel subsidy was removed ... What you should have done is to compare us with economy that removes subsidy from fuel.... I.e undertook same decision measures Nigeria took and we get the real answer .

Our case is different and unique in Africa.
