Na which kind beer parlor economist be this :.. Julius berger should have 5% of NNPC shares.. So funny... NNPC should be scrapped, it's a money losing behemoth producing nothing, the refineries should be sold, all proceeds pay to the CBN.. The CBN should stop printing unnecessary money... That's what Emefiele did and plunge us into this situation.

It's not Tinubu's fault. Blame those who are not happy with the general suffering.

Very disappointing the advice of the so called top economists. The first thing that the government needs to do to salvage the economy is to make drastic cuts in the cost of governance, the second thing they need to do is to give every necessary support to the productive sector to help boost productivity within the economy.

Suggestions that could actually ease the suffering of the masses? Very funny and hilarious to think the demons in government would even consider such. They are only interested in activities that can increase IGR. Tell them to increase VAT rate from 7 to percent 50 percent and see how quickly it would be seriously considered.

U don sabi this government pple.... It's like the devil is living in their chest in the place of a heart.... They see nothing wrong with country

I won't be surprised if the increase tax and fuel price tomorrow morning

Lol 😂😂😂

Fixing power alone would take $120 billion minimum we don't have that and we don't need it right now

Port to major cities by rail would cost $100 billion... We don't have such amounts we don't need that right now

Reduce tax? Where is the tax? Do Nigerians pay tax? Lmaooo

This APC know nothing about development...

Nothing he said here can be achieved in even if you make prof the president

1) We need to restructure the taxing system such that companies can avoid paying tax if they reinvest in their business, grow it and employ more people

2) second we need to Identify areas we have comparative advantage and provide access to credit for this industries ( not every industries)

3) every none essential infrastructure funding should be stopped right now we don't need it as at now
All this will not work because the government is deliberately sabotaging Nigeria. How else can you explain power generation and transmission is stuck at 3000 to 4000 mega watt? How do you explain that a country will unemployment will kill it's refinery and continue to import fuel? How do you explain that a country will.kill it's steel company? The list go on and on.

All of These Are Another Confusing Jargon That They Have Been Providing The Government of Nigeria Since Time Immemorial.

The Solution To The HUNGER IN THE LAND CRISIS in Nigeria Remains That The FG Invest in The Agricultural Real Estates of Growing Foods in The Entire 774 Local Government Areas in Nigeria.

That's All.

Shikena:
The FG should declare a food emergency and make it an act of economic sabotage for any law enforcement officer or any citizen to stop and proceed to demand bribe from vehicles conveying agricultural products within Nigeria - no delay as long as they are not trafficking ammunition or dangerous products.

Also, why are the state governments not having their own food reserves too? As the Federal Government is opening up its own reserves to distribute food, states and LGs should also be opening their reserves too to compliment, and we definitely have abundance to alleviate the shortage but unfortunately, states governors are not interested or concerned, Abuja must spoon-feed everybody despite steady allocations.

...Or simply eradicate insecurity and banditry.

Improve electricity supply.

These two alone will enhance internal production in all sectors.

Rubbish!

None of these will work.
If you like bring all the past US presidents to come and lead this country, it still will not work as long as we operate under this construction and structure

People think that Nigeria's problem is the president. No. Nigeria's problem is how the country is structured.

If Nigeria is ever going to make progress, there needs to be a real restructuring of how the system works, starting from the rubbish constitution we are using.

Is Tinubu responsible for all the weak institutions we have all over the country? Nigeria died in 1967 and since then, we've just been deceiving ourselves. Reason why the previous administration is always better than the current one. It just keeps getting worse.

That is the reason why when that goat started talking rubbish that a new Nigeria was possible, I started campaigning against him immediately.

At least, Atiku admitted there's a problem with the governing structure of Nigeria. Not like he will do any better but at least he admitted there's a problem there.

Nigeria don die, know this and reduce your expectations.

You made sense. But they will never change the constitution because it is beneficial to the rulling class and the elites.

I expect the masses to have protested a complete change in the constitution, but no one is talking about it. Nigeria should be removed from the world map asap. The country is dead.

The best way to put the country back on track is that , the army should shoot at sight anyone/group constituting nuisance anywhere in the country because of hungry.

And also the price of fuel should be increased to let say 4k per liter and dollar 7k per dollar. By such all the weak will die off.

Then the remaining people alive will understand that hunger know no tribe nor religion.

With this Nigeria will be a better place.
