It shocked me last night as I went to buy garri and was told it's now 600 naira for derica. Now the annoying thing is the garri most of these people have is old stock but they keep increasing the price and now selling times 4 of what they originally bought it. Is that not wickedness? I still bought garri from the same bag @300 and in my presence the woman kept hiking it. When I told her, but you've not exhausted that bag, she said if she goes to the market she'll buy at the new rate that's why... See greedy people?


What of we that buy things at the new rate everyday, are we not human beings?

How many food crop do you want to plant that will last you a year long,what about the ingredients to cook the food,will you plant that as well.Can gas be planted as well because the price is also increasing on a daily basis.

Going back to farm, or to plan as mentioned above is the solution.

My dad was looking for where to farm and he found a place in a... I won't say village cause that place doesn't feel vilage like.
Infact it's not. It's just that a lot of people haven't started building houses there yet. So the lands are still free.

Place ain't that deep. People with big houses are living there. Just the the no of buildings aren't much.

Going into farming is not a bad idea, I also have some livestock I'm raising aswell.Our problem right now is not food scarcity,if you need 1thousand bag of rice today,you will get it easily,but at what price?
The inflation is not restricted to prices of food commodities alone,it's general. So unless the government come up with good policy to control inflation and regulate the economy, everyone going into farming is not the ultimate solution to our problem.
