SANWO-OLU FLAGS OFF LAGOS MARKET TRADER MONEY, DISTRIBUTES N750M TO 15,000 BENEFICIARIES
 
Governor of Lagos State, Mr @jidesanwoolu flagged off the distribution of N750million financial intervention scheme tagged “Lagos Market Trader Money” for 15,000 beneficiaries.

Mr Governor fulfilled his promise he made at the launch of the Lagos Food hub, Idi Oro Mushin, as 250 traders from each of 20 local governments and 37 Local Development Council Areas (LCDAs), as well as 750 beneficiaries identified from markets within the Police barracks and military formations across the State, on Wednesday, received N50,000 each.

That's around 50k per trader, only roadside traders will find that tangible.
Hope the traders will be informed of the terms and conditions that come with such funds. If this is a loan that will have to be repaid, better let them know. Don't be like those jackasses that started removing money from people's account in the name of COVID intervention funds loan retrieval.
