Most northerners are not Nigerians. They were invited by northern politicians and emirs to come from all over west Africa to dominate the south in politics and population and lured by subsidized fuel, unchecked employment into the federal civil service, takeover of minority areas in the middle belt, Ruga, cheap foods and oil wells to appropriate in the south, they have invaded the nation and are main the cause of insecurity.

I doubt it, sincerely that won't happen. It is only those who are enjoying now that will follow the same path, so many people had hopes but are now disappointed. Voter apathy may even be more by then, just within a year, Gbajabiamila won his constituency with 19k plus votes, the second person had 5k plus votes followed by others but I doubt if the same constituency returned a total of up to 12k votes from all parties involved in the recently conducted election,,,,,it's a sign of what's to come, may God spare our lives beyond then, amen.

They're not even talking of the astronomical increase in the price of garri and tuwo...they're more concerned with the unaffordabilty of spaghetti in the market! Methinks they've been enjoying life a bit too much!

My sentiments too! However i don't think this illegal immigration into Nigeria started recently! It's probably been going on since colonial times and i suspect increased exponentially during the oil boom of the early 70s! For them, there's no concept of national borders presenting a barrier with Nigeria, as they can come and go as they please...or even settle in Nigeria permanently! For them, Illegally acquiring a letter of indigeneship from any of the hundreds of LGAs in the core north would be a walk in the park!
