Yes they are dangerous. Very very.

But they do have social cues and a hierarchical system. The only to mingle with them is to be accepted as part of the tribe and to recognize their social hierarchy. For instance they rub their scent on you for bonding and recognition. If this is not done then they do not recognise you as a member of the tribe no matter how kind you have been to them.

Maybe the allocation meant for the feeding of the lion is being diverted and hunger is taking effect on the lion, because I still can't imagine what would made an animal u fed for 9 years mauled u.

I don't know why we humans always think we can subdue nature.... All big cats are wired from birth to kill their prey by nature⚠️

So no matter how you feed and train a lion or tiger, it can't erase that DNA of killing in them!!! They simply cannot be your friend or pet, NEVER⚠️

Bro, I don't know if he broke any safety rules but dude raised this lion since it was a cub — I know it's still a wild animal. The lion deserved to be euthanized, it would have gotten worst than that.

It's been killed, but it's the man's fault for his death and the lion's death.

He was busy raising what would end his life.

There should be an independent inquiry (not by the university) to unravel what prompted the male lion to attack the keeper because male lions are usually more docile and seldom attack except when extremely hungry or it's territory threatened

There's a need to know what and how their rations are given plus how have they been managing the budget of the pack of lions feeding.

If there's a CCTV system(there should be as a best practice), this will enable a review of activities and actions of the keepers days prior to the attack.
This is an ufortunate incident but a thorough investigation required to forestall a reoccurrence..
