Baba stop all this your vague English everywhere jere

The economy is crumbling at a mindblowing rate and you think it's just by English

Get your team into a hot meeting and brainstorm on ideas to create wealth, reduce underemployment, and if the thing don too pass you seek help from others

Because obviously as a Nigerian and selfish politician that you are you will rather die in office than resign

So good luck in your work oo

As long as everyone continues to use importer rather than local goods. The demand for fx will always stack higher than the naira....

From your gate to your living room to your bedroom everyone uses 90% imported in their homes. Even when local is available and cheaper. We all still opt for these imported items.......

We all know the solution but the fruit of corruption is to steal as to use all that glitters that is not gold....
This your comment is somehow.

Buy local to grow the Naira.

And it is still the same corruption that has our fx rising because our main trade partner is China and we should be concerned about the yen but our loans and corruption is in dollars.
Is there a nation that did not import? Even you import materials to aid local manufactured goods. USA & UK are large importers, yet their economy is rock solid. The problem of Nigeria is greed, corruption, and lawlessness.

Raise $10bn from whom?

Who would be foolish to loan money to an insolvent country?

Exactly. The only two options left to this government are

(i) to start a large-scale privatization program that reduces the cost of government while bringing in badly needed forex.
(ii) to try to squeeze blood from a stone by increasing the tax burden on an already impoverished population.

Since Tinubu isn't making any visible efforts on the first point, it's clear he thinks the solution will be to tax Nigerians more. Unfortunately, most Nigerians are not even close to being as well-off as Lagosians, so this cannot be expected to end well.

At this juncture, it is wise to reach an agreement with the IMF to provide balance of payment assistance.

That's one of their primary functions.

Karma is a bitch.
BAT insulted GEJ, calling him derogatory names like clueless yet he kept the dollar at #200.
BAT met the dollar at N750-N800 and in 8 months took it to N1900.

All BATists are only good in propaganda and dirty politics but this is how far it can take you
The worst president in the history of Nigeria in just 8 months.

Nonsense. More than 90% of that money will end up in the hands of black market traders(Aboki) and they will sell it at a higher price.

Even if you raise 100 billion dollars.

As long as there are a few Nigerians with 10 billion naira cash at home, they will change it to dollars in no time.

And we are back to square one......The Banks are complicit as well, our banks need the "sanusi" treatment, Flush out culpable CEO/MD's

You have to address the looters, the corrupt officials, the money launderers, the currency traffickers, the currency hoarders.

Stop pretending they dont exist or they are untouchable.

These people are making a fool of your government and your strategies. You are now spending more than the "removed" subsidy to stabilize the naira....lol

they know all dis tin mention Bt I don’t know why dey are still pay blind eyes to it. D banks CEO/MD are also part of dis problem

I saw the Naira rise to N1400 against the USD in my dream. So we may actually get some results.

The plan should be to leave the country or protect yourself before BAT and his cronies exhaust the N10bn and the resultants gains. The aftermath of these superficial gains will be tragic.

Hope your dreams come through and not just some wild imaginations?
