Pls I need help right now I don't know what to do. I've been going to the bank since monday when I noticed my money was removed from my account when I checked my statement of account in bank I was told my account was used on remita whereas I was not the one. Pls I don't know what to do is there hope my money can be reversed and also traced. Can illegal transaction made through remita be tracked.
I complained to a friend but he said I will need the RRR payment but I don't have it what do I do

It looks to me like a fraud..If care is not taken, the deduction will likely happen again.

For a direct debit to be activated on your account, you are supposed to be in the bank yourself and the bank officer will activate it after confirming you are the owner of the account.
What's the narration on the alert?
At this stage since you don't know about the transaction, I will advise you write a letter to the bank detailing what happened...Let them acknowledge the letter please.

If you have another secured account, move some money there for your upkeep this weekend.
Call your bank's official line, official o, tell them to block your account (PND). DONT SHARE ANY PASSWORD OR OTP. THEY ONLY NEED YOUR NAME AND DOB, MAYBE RECENT TRANSACTION AT MOST.

Do this tonight in that order.

Tomorrow morning, go to your bank to lodge a formal complaint. They can get the details of the remita mandate tied to your account for direct debit. Tell them to terminate it because you did not authorise it. You would be asked to write a letter there.

It's possible that it's a loan repayment, too

Your friend is not your bank. Go to the bank and insist that they run a thorough check.
Also, the money can be reversed if it has not been utilized wherever it was transferred to
