2024 Olympic Qualifier: Super Falcons vs Banyana showdown gets dates, venues

The Super Falcons of Nigeria will host the Banyana Banyana of South Africa in the first leg of the 2024 Olympic Games final round qualifier on, Friday, April 1, 2024.

The encounter will hold at the Moshood Abiola Stadium, Abuja.

The reverse fixture will take place at the Mbombela Stadium, Mpumalanga eight days later.


The overall winners will seal a place at the Paris 2024 Games.

The Super Eagles are looking to make a return to the Olympics after a 16-year absence.

South Africa on the other hand have failed to qualify for the last two editions of the games.

Paris, France will host the 2024 Olympics between July 26 and August 11, 2024.

What does Caf president have to do with Banyana's play. Are you insinuating that he is influencing Banyana's success? If that is the case you are wrong. Dr. Motsepe is a man of integrity and not a corrupt person. Do you know that he does not even draw a salary from CAF, but instead give money to CAF? He is very passionate about development of African football. Our league (PSL) has improved a lot since his involvement (you can ask your countrymen Stanley Nwabali, Olisah Ndah, Richard Ofori (Ghana), and Ighodaro about that and they will confirm). Caf is lucky to have an astute business man and a president like Motsepe. We (Caf) are gonna surpass other federations like conmebol, concacaf, Asia and Oceania in stature very soon.
