I hate it when movies finishes early .. I like them prolonged .. it's the reason why I watch series more than I do normal movies . .. it has this after effect on me that I don't like .....


I'd rather keep watching for the whole year an watch for just one hour .. There's an exception ti it though.. The series has to be God tier good...

Give me one episode/week for the whole year. I'm good.

Give me the whole season at once, it's really difficult to watch for me except its really good( The Fall of the House of Usher is an example ).I prefer to watch 10 different shows, one episode/week than watching a whole season of a show. Cos not every episode will be captivating, hence those 'boring' period I lose interest.

Same here. Once in awhile, I'll see a show that I can't help but binge. But on a normal, weekly releases abeg. Make I space am out across 7 days.

Maybe this is due to the live-action show pushing more ATLA conversation or it could just be the algorithm pushing more Avatar content to my feed after that Aang/Korra argument but my Twitter feed has been packed with Avatar content for weeks now and the thing just dey sweet me die.
Especially the commentary from Black Americans.

My Twitter feed, YouTube, Reddit, tiktok just filled with ATLA content.

It's been getting quite annoying...and I don't want to block it...so I'm not clicking them anymore and just waiting for them to reduce

The Titans were walking while on fire...

The Titans destroyed hundreds of Military bomber ships while on water

The AOT world isn't that strong but I'm yet to see what skill set Aang has to stop the Rumbling

BTW. Bar that gutter quality last season, GOT was really that "SHOW"! fr. In all ramifications, i haven't seen show quite like it, and the fact that studios be out here, really trying to replicate just it since, just to have thier own "GOT" speaks massive decibels 😩

All the reviews for this has been premium.
Comparisons with my favourite show of all time also speaks volumes on quality and epicness. 😉

I have episode 1 downloaded but never get time for it. Consensus is that it's prolly the best anime for last year alongside Blue Eye Samurai.

I thought I was the only one with this feeling.

Just keep piling up movies to watch and scared of 2hrs plus films but will easily binge an 8 episodes TV show in a sitting.

SHOGUN: It's definitely living up to the hype. Great acting, dialog and cinematography. It seems they spoke old Japanese in this series cos some words are quite different from the ones spoken in TOKYO VICE.

Why do the Japanese ladies drag their feet on the ground while walking like baby dolls? E dey always amuse me.

There's a certain way to walking as a lady in ancient Japan. The actors even had to learn how to walk that way to be able to properly portray that era.

The kimono is wrapped around their legs so its awkward walking briskly and there's a technique to walking as a lady. There's a way to sit, stand and walk with the kimono. They walk with their knees closed.

Watched "Memoirs of a Geisha" some weeks back and saw glimpses of Japanese ladies etiquette back in the days.

Blue Eye Samurai was good, but no way it was among the best of 2023.
It isn't even an anime.

Omooooo...like i have actually not heard any bad review for it, both from critics and fans. I have never seen this much excitement for a TV show in a long while.

This week totally fed film heads and nerds good ngl 😩, From "Poor things" been available on VOD, to Shōgun dropping banger episodes to Dune 2 dropping on Friday....see proper meal brotherly!

It's just too bad i have terrible scheduling this week, as it seems like i am the only one yet to see "Shôgun" 😭, and the earliest i can see it, is by the weekend if i want to have a proper experience 😩😩.
