Akpan107: This a good question, Note Arab settlers did not replace the people living in Palestine/Jerusalem (you call it today Isreal) but as time pass Palestine/Jerusalem ruling fell under control of different Empires (like Roman, abysyria, Ottoman) before Britain came to colonized them. For majority of periods it's under Ottoman Empire which make majority of them to embrace Islamic culture, lannguage, appearance and religion. But they have their linage trace to David, Solomon and other prophets that has come. Not all Palestines are Muslims, some are Jews and some are Christians but majority of them are Muslim. To explain better understand how possible people living in Jerusalem/Palestine can become Muslim against remain as Jews. The rulers always impact way of life of his subjects particularly in those stone age. For example in Africa/Nigeria, majority are idol worshipers before European came to colonized, nowadays majority of people claimed to be Christian or Muslim, even some are still engage in pagan practice. Palestinians are called Arab only for political categorization like they call Morocco, Egypt, Malaysian, Tunisia Arab. Even some still call Niger, Mali, Senegal, Suddan even Hausa/Fulani Arab. They are not Arab it's just that they have embrace the Arab culture and religion. Like some Christians will call theirself Zionist, Israelits. Another example, Northern Nigeria was occupied by certain groups of people before encouter with Mali traders and in flow of Fulani whose conquer and rule the land. By there ruling majority of northerner are now Muslims but not all even North Nigeria has diversity of culture, many languages (apart from Hausa), and religions. When Hamas were attacking Isreal, everybody in Gaza were jubilating men and women adults and children were jubilating watching killing of isreali people. Taking hostages. There was a lady IDF soldier, she was naked, dragged on the floor and and killed. Till now, hama are still holding hostages, but you expect Isreal to bow and beg Hamas?, So far they keep witholding the hostages, and can't suppressed IDF fire power, they will continue to di because you can't hold something that belongs to someone that is stronger than you and you want to negotiate before release. Lanre1st:No Jewish changed his/her culture to that of the Arab settlers. The Jews still maintained their culture till today. That was why I asked you, at what point did Jews denied being Jews and claimed to be Arab? Because the Arab settlers are also not claiming Jewish. Muslims did just entered Israel to preach what you called "the gospel of Islam". You know, it was by the sword Salah al-Din Yusuf ibin Ayyub Sultan of Egypt and Syria invaded Israel in 1187 to claim the land long before Othman. You don't snatch people land that why, they will always regroup and fight back. Even your Quran in Sura 5:21-24 admit the promise land was given to Moses, and Moses was a Jew, a Levi by tribe. Arabs are just squatting in Israel. Since they have decided to fight their host, their population will keep diminishing in Israel. |
