A young Nigerian student stunned many social media users as a video shows the Amala he brought to school and ate during the break hour due to the inability to afford rice.

This is contained in a video captioned: “Rice is expensive and we can’t do anything but eat what we can afford 😂😂😂 My students with the doings! Life of a Corper.”

In the said video, the student could be seen seated comfortably on his seat as he eats his Amala with soup while his classmates watch.

He dipped the Amala into the bowl of soup carefully placed on his leg while some of his friends surrounded him in surprise at the menu he brought to school.

Not long after the video made its way to social media, concerned individuals stormed the comment page of the post to share their thoughts.
