Governor Umaru Bago of Niger State praised Peter-Obi after receiving the Award of the Leadership Governor of the Year 2023.

“We have cleared deliberately over a million hectares of land.
So, my boss (Peter-Obi), you're very right to what you have said. We have no reason to be poor.

“People may not like you, but they must hear you. Because what you say is the Gospel Truth.

“Nigeria needs to be PRODUCTIVE.. You cannot be out of poverty unless you start to produce....”

NIGER STATE RECEIVED 2000 AGRICULTURAL EQUIPMENT

In her bid to scale up agricultural production and ensure food security, the Niger State Government is in partnership with Origin Group, a diversified agriculture value chain conglomerate, which is set to begin a specialized agro support program in Niger State using its proprietary themed support system —Total Agricultural Support Program (TASP) in partnership with Campo of Brazil.

The equipment the Niger State Government received includes 500 large-capacity tractors, 500 Harvesters of varying capacities,
1000 various agricultural and Irrigation equipment and farm implements.

This initiative is expected to eradicate drudgery,
50% post-harvest losses and revenue losses by farmers.

The program will support 50,000 hectares of fully irrigated food production hubs in Niger State, thereby helping the state scale its desire to deepen food production, wealth creation, and employment opportunities for the teeming population of the state.

I was in Minna recently and I realised that Governor Bago is following Peter Obi script and he is not hiding it, this public display is to show Nigerians that he thinks beyond party lines.
I wish him and Niger State success, being Obidient is now an ideology that is beyond Labour Party, even many APC and PDP members are Obidient which is about accepting we failed as a nation and embracing new concepts for a new Nigeria
