This is a good development but governors should not appoint the head. That role should be given to the traditional institution and the clergy committee. |

State police is the way forward. Probably this is the beginning of decentralisation in Nigeria. We use to be very good farmers in the north. With this, probably, we are going to start something for ourselves. |

FFIA: I believe that would be kind of control from the federal level. The entire authority will not be left at the hand of state governor. |

Nigeria is not ripe for state policing. not when the rule of law and an independent judiciary are nonexistent. The abuse of power and state capturing is already rife with feferal policing, imagine what the landsacpe will be when govs attain full control . |

What will state police change after all these years? Does state police stop armed herdsmen and bandits or Boko Haram from attacking the southern States? Since far Northern region embraced Sharia criminal laws and Boko Haram emerged, also fights for a Nigeria to be governed with Sharia laws, Nigeria changed and got ready for dissolution. |
Re: Prepare For State Police, Lagos Assembly Tells Safety Corps by Amah70: 5:55pm On Mar 06 |
atiku4President: The north got ready for dissolution of Nigeria when far north adopted unconstitutional Islamic sharia criminal laws. It's the south who have timid and politically ill-informed people, which clutch tight to one Nigeria. 1 Like 1 Share |
