Adeseye Ogunlewe, a former minister of works and housing, says blaming Muhammadu Buhari, former president, for the challenges confronting the Bola Tinubu administration, is pointless. The All Progressives Congress (APC) chieftain who spoke in a chat with TheCable on Thursday, says President Tinubu and his appointees should focus on fulfilling their electoral promises and finding solutions to the problems in the country. “Honestly, I don’t believe in abusing the past administration. It is what you wanted to do that you should focus on. People voted for you based on the promises you made during the election,” he said. “Tinubu has already said he is accepting all responsibility, both the assets and liabilities of the Buhari administration. He said I asked for the vote, you made me president and I am ready to work. That is all. “I am not into apportioning blames because that can never solve our problems. Whatever happened under Buhari is past tense. “It is what Tinubu wants to do to merit the votes given to him that matters now. There is no need mentioning Buhari’s name anymore.” Asked to assess Tinubu’s performance so far, Ogunlewe said the president has done well, while pleading with Nigerians to give him more time to stabilise the nation. “Tinubu is doing excellently well. I will just appeal to Nigerians to be patient with him,” he said. “There is no other option than what he is doing. He only needs time to heal the wounds, stabilise the country and then we move forward. “I am absolutely confident that he is doing the right thing.” https://www.thecable.ng/blaming-buhari-for-economic-hardship-wont-solve-our-problems-says-ogunlewe

Tinubu has nothing to offer. Before he stepped in his office in Aso Rock,he created a problem at the Eagles square by removing subsidy without critically considering it's consequences. Now he is still paying subsidy because the landing cost of PMS is higher than what we buying at the pumps. However, the ripple effects of the initial removal of subsidy on 29th May caused a fresh round of hardship on Nigerians who were trying to recover from PMB's hardship. Exchange rate is more than doubled in just under a year of BAT's administration. Infact, Tinubu is indeed a bat. He is blind, confused and clueless. Same goes to his economic team. |

Tinubu is no longer talking about agbado/cassava planting and agricultur revolution. He introduced the scam called students loan and sent cost of higher education to an all time high. By the time he is done with his first 4 years, Nigerians will be applying for Zimbabwean visas. |

There's no way you are not going to highlight and talk about the misdoings of your predecessor especially when you're talking to the media, but the same media will give you headlines that will look like volcanoes have erupted |
