Wheat production programme being implemented in Jigawa state, courtesy of the huge subsidy to farmers by the Tinubu administration. This is the first time since 36 years, that wheat production is being ramped up in the state and the country.

I see the government is listening to the people.
Good moves, forget about the bandits and terrorists news
Overwhelm the media with positive and good news.
Next thing thing Mr President make executive orders that all the wheat produced in Nigeria must be fully bought before any foreign wheat can be imported into Nigeria. At the same prices adding the cost of importation and duties.
Better still set up a coop board and give the farmers 100% Guarantee all their wheat will be purchased by the government at market prices.
Then tell the wheat importers they must buy all the wheat from the coop board before they can import any wheat.
Also catch and prosecute smugglers of flour.
That will save us 4 billion dollars in wheat importation.
One day we might even be exporting wheat to other countries.
If you turn wheat farming to Gold, the farmers will produce more wheat
Once farmers see this happening a lot of people will start farming wheat.

Nigeria shall be great again.

Two things that prosper a country, agriculture and stable electricity.
But who will bell the cat of boko haram and herdsmen?
Imagine you can't even reason agriculture for the fear of some nuisance waiting for harvest time to destroy your sweat...
I still don't understand something, people seem to know where this herdsmen and terrorists are abi no be same terrorists dem talk say dem get territory for some states, even created their own government?
What's stopping governments from bombarding them and decimating them?
OH, na family partnership

Just as Nigerian government banned rice import, spent trillions on rice farmers to boost production and we now have cheaper rice all over the place afterwards

Rice import ban was not well enforced.
A lot of border porosity is common knowledge in Nigeria.
A country where 300 people can be kidnapped and no one sees anything
How hard will it be to bring in Rice ? that can shout or have legs to run ?
