Long overdue@ SeeWahala…The immigrants from Osun, kwara and other states that overshadowed the aworis homeland and politics made us believe aworis and other Lagos indigenous groups are now extinct. I saw them drown the voices of Bucknor Akeredolu, Erelu dosunmu , Bode George and others which made me wonder why would it be only in Lagos matter other Yoruba immigrants would be saying Yoruba is one ? Would an awori go to Osun or ekiti or Ondo or oyo and vie for political office telling them there Yorubas are one ? It doesn’t happen anywhere in southern Nigeria and real indigenes of Lagos have a bigger fight on their hands for their future , culture and politics with these invaders that imposed themselves on Lagos politics . Lateef jakande had awori language taught in schools and for local news then and if he was the one that took over in 1999 the nonsense represented today by tinubu and his co criminals would not have happened. They tricked aworis and other native Lagosians into believing igbos were the enemies while they called aworis etc slaves from Sierra Leone and Brazil at their back and used the opportunity to capture Lagos….very pathetic situation
