Meanwhile ₦20million today cant start you an average business with a good capital base. Nb In response to the kid who quoted me that if i cannot use 20million for business i cannot manage ₦1billion I dont sell cars but let me use car sales for example. A direct tokumbo venza cost between 14 to 16 milion naira ,now tell me how many cars you can have in an average outlet with 20million naira? 27 Likes 4 Shares |

..and so? Is $1 yesterday $1 today Is NGN1 yesterday NGN 1 today The fact Volkswagen was NGN 300 at some point, does it mean everyone can afford it at that time I agree, Nira has depreciated over time...it's a sad one...but brining this kind of analogy no cut am. When NGN 20 M was $ 5 M ...how many people have these money in their account back then..both in Nigeria and USA 31 Likes 7 Shares |

HIS EVIL, WASTEFUL, CORRUPT, SENSELESS, CARELESS AND WICKED GENERATION (PEOPLE BETWEEN THE AGES OF 55-88 YEARS) DESTROYED THIS COUNTRY. A lot used to be good about this country. When they were youths, they enjoyed a lot of benefits that includes good road, free education, electricity, scholarships, good and well paying jobs after graduation etc. IT GOT TO THEIR TURN TO RULE AND TAKE OVER AND THEY DESTROYED EVERYTHING. NIGERIA CAN'T EVEN BE PROUD OF COMMON ELECTRICITY! Right before their very shameless and evil eyes, ONE DOLLAR TO 50 KOBO BECAME ONE DOLLAR TO ₦2,000. LATER MOST OF THEM WILL BE BLAMING THE NEW GENERATION OF BEING LAZY AND CORRUPT... WICKED OLD FOOLS. 21 Likes 6 Shares |

And some people like Reno keep using the current resent abominable exchange rate to say that Nigeria has the cheapest fuel in Africa. That's because you are dividing their prices by 1500. Why will your currency by 1500 times less than their own?? Low iq people everywhere Within 8 months the naira has dropped from 500 to 1500. 3x. All our wealth slashed by ⅓ 1/3 by one single policy. Without any change in productivity or without any one resigning. Everyone is still working. They just lost one third of their wealth by no economic metric. And that is what you are using to justify high prices 2 Likes |

adioolayi: The problem is not just the depreciation of the naira but the purchasing power of the naira... In 2015 the minum wage was 19800 and it could buy almost 4 bags of rice, now even the increased minimum wage cannot buy you 1 bag of rice. That tells you that the economy was not balanced enough by the present and previous government to face the naira depreciation, in other words the government failed to do their duties... 6 Likes |

onthehill: if my history serves me correct Zenith Bank was not started by Jim Ovia, it was known as Zenith Merchant Bank in the early 90s. Jim came back from the states and worked in defunct IMB in Victoria Island and then was able to take over Zenith Merchant Bank and renamed it Zenith Bank. 3 Likes |
