Hello, buddy. I have an enquiry to make about the Smarten 2500 inverter in the second picture. I use one with a 1800W (300W x 6, all connected in parallel) solar panel set-up without a charge controller because it comes with an inbuilt 50A mppt controller (as advertised and advised by the technician that installed it). My problem is that it generates very little amperage, even on sunny days. When it was installed, I usually got 9A ~ 12A, now it's between a measly 2.3A to 3.5A. Do I need a charge controller with this particular Inverter make and model? Is my solar panel set-up too powerful for the inverter's inbuilt mppt charge controller? Could the inbuilt CC be fried or malfunctioning?

On Amazon India, I read a guy's review on the same inverter and he claimed the usage of an external charger controller (mppt) and his set-up, similar to mine (1800W; 450 x 4), generates up to 39A, as seen from his review pictures.

Smarten these days are unreliable, I have one with an output problem. I had to get another inverter for the client when it almost ruined the new tubular batteries I got for him.

That is wild! I haven't had any issues with mine other than what I specified up there. In fact, it's uptime is closing on a year, two months now. Never been turned off and it's holding up fine.

Did you install it with an external charger controller for your client??
