I don't think there's anywhere Tinubu is compulsory State police for anyone. Also no where he said the Nigeria police " Federal Police " will be scrapped. So what exactly is your problem ?

How on earth will they get the resources for that?

Are you living in Nigeria at all? Because many state governors have come out openly to say their monthly allocation has increased since Tinubu removed subsidy. I don't know the data you're quoting.

Your comments makes no sense 😒. If states don't have the funds to establish a police force force they simply won't. Prisons were moved to the concurrent list 4 years ago, and no state has established one. As you can see, the federal prisons didn't disappear. The federal police won't either. The states are not being bankrupted by either decision.

States will have to raise taxes or make cuts. Cuts should be easier considering state bureaucracy is bloated. Just read your state budget and ask yourself if this really needs to exist.

FYI our currency is naira not $—-the recurrent expenditure of the of which a huge component is salaries & wages has stay same despite the 300% reduction in value as you claimed. The governors should pass on the increase to the people via interventions and projects to improve living conditions.
