Tinibu is hellbent on bankrupting this country in every corner possible? . Why would this man relegate responsibilities to struggling states without doing so with funding? What kind of reasoning is behind that? Cluelessnes? . Do not misquote me, but one thing is certain: Running government with propaganda & ill-hastly conceived policy is a recipe for destructive failure. . You can't rationize such poorly conceived step. Just after depreciating naira by 300% you're now relegating responsibilities to the struggling states_shying away from responsibilities like a typical clueless leader who is now confused of what to do with power after grabbing, snatching & running away with it. 2 Likes 1 Share |

I will urge you to cleanse your heart from bitterness and hatred. I don't think there's anywhere Tinubu is compulsory State police for anyone. Also no where he said the Nigeria police " Federal Police " will be scrapped. So what exactly is your problem ? Many Nigerians have been advocating for state police and now the opportunity is here, you are complaining. 40 Likes 3 Shares |

Tinubu is totally clueless. Many states cannot pay civil servants' salaries without federal allocation but you want them to start control federal police in their states. How on earth will they get the resources for that? If states start controlling the police without controlling the resources in their domain, the corruption we see in today's police will be a child's play because the police will exploit the people - it is assigned to protect - to survive. 1 Like |

My stance should not be misconcepted. I'm in support of state policing but i'm in no way in support of shoddy policy conceptualized with feeble monkey-like APC muffons kind of reasoning. . Relegating resposibilities without giving them fund to handle & tackle them head-on is a joke of the century policy by the Tinibu led government. 1 Like |

Continue giving yourself false hope. Tell your Rep members, senators and governor to come out and say they don't need state police. Allow people that want it to have it. cadmanspize: 34 Likes 1 Share |

Re: Tinibu Moves To Cripple States With State Police Policy-cadman Spize by cadmanspize: 9:47am On Mar 14 |
Panda7:It's also possible for tinibu to relegate funds to states to drive their police - especially after depreciating the IGR & fed aloc by 300%. . I'm not leeching on any government but one thing i'm not sure of is of that clueless demented power snatcher making any good policy till the end of his admistration. |

Are you living in Nigeria at all? Because many state governors have come out openly to say their monthly allocation has increased since Tinubu removed subsidy. I don't know the data you're quoting. cadmanspize: 32 Likes |

Madam, I cannot speak for any state because I'm not representing any. My point is simple, any state that doesn't need the state police should not be bothered as no one will make it mandatory. The criteria should be how each state governors prioritize their state. Kano State has HISBAH, which they're paying them conveniently, some states in the SW also have Amotekun which we never see or hear their operatives of complaining of no salary. cadmanspize: You asserted that he allocated new responsibilities without extra funding, yet the allocation from FAAC to states has surged by more than 100% compared to the previous year, attributed to the removal of subsidies. lionshare:Clueless tinibu up-surged it by 100% in figure but down-surged it by 300% in value totalling 200% down-surge. (500# equal 1$ vs 500# now equals 0.3$) . cadmanspize: Your comments makes no sense ๐. If states don't have the funds to establish a police force force they simply won't. Prisons were moved to the concurrent list 4 years ago, and no state has established one. As you can see, the federal prisons didn't disappear. The federal police won't either. The states are not being bankrupted by either decision. States will have to raise taxes or make cuts. Cuts should be easier considering state bureaucracy is bloated. Just read your state budget and ask yourself if this really needs to exist. Beautifulday: No, it doesn't. Focus on your state. If other states can't afford it, oh well, it sucks to suck. 1 Like

cadmanspize: OP is definitely clueless and a negative propagandist. You sound like Ningi on the floor of the Senate. I mean, how can someone be a member of the Budget appropriation committee and come out churning out thrash. It means he does not understand what the assignment of the committee was all about. He doesn't understand what they were doing there. That guy na scammer. You were part of the committee that finalized the budget. You were supposed to know everything about the budget in to-to yet you had to engage a consultant for the sum of #30,000,000. Which consultant collected 30M from him? Was it his cousin or friend? There is clearly a northern agenda to sabotage this government. When the budget card failed, he switched it to personal attacks. Asking for the number of aides the Senate president engaged. Number of aides koh! Number of handmaidens nii!! A budget all the National Assembly passed, he wanted to hang the inconsistencies contained therein on the neck of just a single man, Akpabio. Then what is the oversight function of the budget committee. I was impressed with how the highly cerebral Yayi laid everything bare and explained in full details the discrepancies. Kettles calling pots black. |

cadmanspize: FYI our currency is naira not $โ-the recurrent expenditure of the of which a huge component is salaries & wages has stay same despite the 300% reduction in value as you claimed. The governors should pass on the increase to the people via interventions and projects to improve living conditions. One more thing when you throw insults around as youโve done itโs tell more about you, your parentage & values if you any. |
