South South states with All the oil money can't pay wage away and empower the people

Honestly, especially my state, Delta. If Ondo can pay 35k, Delta state should be mandated to pay 50k as they are recipient of the highest federal monthly allocation. I want to see Delta at the top always even striving to surpass Lagos State in infrastructural development too. It should not be "Big Heart" for nothing.

Most of these state governors are the real cause of Nigeria inflation.

Ebonyi was the first to start paying (10,000

Naira)in the South East, because Dave umahi

really dealt with workers immediately

he became governor he slashed their salary

and left them in tatters while

leaving office after the expiration of his

tenure.

They surveyed only 15 states.

Read, you refuse.

Tell us if your state is paying, or any other state apart from the ones mentioned.

Wage award is not a solution to Nigeria's economic crisis. What percentage of the country's population does the civil service cover?
How about those in the informal sector and the unemployed which make up a greater percentage of the total population?

My own thinking about that ondo state is that the governor is looking for reelection to office may be that is why he is doing that

Ogun state a paltry #10 thousand with all the high IGR. Which students are they paying and for how long. Create enabling environment for people to earn decent pay not weaponizing poverty.

I thought as much that AKWA IBOM STATE will not be among the list..

With all the oil drilling the state is still lagging behind if not Former governor Godwill Akpabio who transformed AKWA IBOM STATE I don't really know how the state will look like now....

Ubom ,my local government man was on seat for 8 years a road from ndon-eyo to Abat Secretarial road could not be completed is more than shame!!

Its high time we started holding our governors in the East accountable for their silly style of governance

Why are Niger Delta states with huge allocation not paying? The problem of Nigeria is not lack of money but corruption and the lack of willpower to right to the people. The welfare of citizens means nothing to those in power. Too bad.

Oh yeahhhh, you are quite very right. I never thought about that. But even at that, for him to approve that payment, it means the funds are always there just that they hold them back because of greed. God will help us 🙏

Our governor is a big disappointment, being the Chairman of The Nigerian Governor's Forum, AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq has left much to be desired in his stead as Governor of Kwara State.
