You are daft, can you point to a single village that belongs to boko haram or Fulani bandits? Bomadi has a static and known location, hence they messed up. If you must ambush the military, why not do it on some neutral ground? Why do it in your community? Just recently, the Nigerian military bombed a complete village, killing 247 people in kaduna and there are several of such instances in Borno state were drone was used to strike and killed over 300 people in an IDP. Read about collateral damage.
And yes, the moment you carry an assault riffle, you become a legitimate target. Get over your feelings.

Why is the military fighting the innocent villagers. How will they even get the culprits if even and innocent villager is on the run for his life, is it a criminal that would now hide somewhere close to the village?

In as much as I condemn the killing of our soldiers,the military should not vent their anger on innocent civilians.

The Nigerian army is overstretched. They will do police work, that’s why they are not respected. What is the military doing there before they were slaughtered. They are just lucky guns are not legalized in Nigeria, as they are coming back to burn down the community, they will be met by more bullets and they will lose more of their officers. The government should send all military men back to barracks.

What "peace keeping" operations are soldiers carrying out inside Nigeria? Do you know how the Okuama people have been terrorised by the Ijaw using Tompolo boys dressed in military fatigues? The Okuama boys attacked and dismembered the soldiers believing they were the regular Tompolo boys who wear military fatigues to come terrorise them

If Civilians are allowed to carry arms, you won't be able to stay in this country.

From school shootings, to criminal activities, Gang shootings every day, to road rage, etc. All these happens every day
in the US, and they have an environment with way less corruption than what we have here, better diplomacy, the court works
the police officers wear camera, their vehicles have cameras even that of civilians, there are cameras every where
it's just hands down a better environment than we have, and they still deal with the ruins of Gun leaglization.

Then compare the terror that will behold us if such kind of law is approved.

While I do not support the destruction of the properties of the innocent, parents should train their children the right way and when a child gets involved in criminal activities, submit that child to the police. if not , sometime in the future, your entire generation and the innocent around you would suffer for the consequences of their criminal activities.

Don't say it is not possible because I know a man who handed his own son to the police for stealing among other very painful things and the guy eventually changed. If not , he might be a most wanted criminal today.
