What's the rationality behind hiking prices of commodity when Naira weakens but the hike remains the same even when Naira appreciates?

Price of cement, sugar, flour, groundnut oil and even our local produce remains thesame.

When the price was hike, the excuse was rise in dollar not pump Price remember.

Pump Price has been like this for months and prices of commodity were not as high as it is currently.

We need Government to act.
There should be price control or whatever measures that needs to be put in place.

Goods bought during the dollar hike need to be sold off first to avoid losses.

It will come down with time.

Does this not mean that most of those criticizing the government corruption do so because they are not benefiting from it? And would likely do worse when given the opportunity.
