I am not talking about the ancient education like Greeks, Chinese , I am talking about the modern day education system which was design to enslave people after the slavery was abolished. You need to get a degree, after degree, master, PhD, HHC, NNPC while wasting years away working for those who designed the same education system. Have you noticed most of the richest people in the world are not that too educated, how about the richest people in Africa or the African leaders, yet they have the money and power. Hardworking is only taught in schools when it should be brainworking . Considering the number of young millionaires in dollars across the globe, they are mostly out of school people yet also making it biggerly. Isn't it time to question the education system |

Education is not actually about going to school and getting certificates. It is finding information that transcends to knowledge and empowers the mind to function in specific dimensions of choice and will. Read about the history Sochiro Honda then You will graps the sponsoring thought to education better. |

I kind of agree with you. Those who control the affairs of the world made education to keep people unnecessarily busy. Especially for younger kids, instead of the children to be formulating ideas, they bombard them with assignments and long hours in school. |

Tochi360:You are not getting the real point. Take note of the word design cos it's a system. Design deliberately to enslave people indirectly |

9japride:In schools now, it's all about hardwork, hard work which is not working. Brain work supposed to be applied to the curriculum if they actually want people to be free. Even the teachers themselves are enslave, the moment you are into it, to get out will be very hard . They work for 30 years earning peanuts, yet their pensions can be squandered by one crazy politicians yet nothing will happen. The guy who embezzled Police pension money, what happened to him? So those police that wasted 30 years in Service, what happened to them. The current Education system is a modern day slavery . When you read about the scams going on in Wall street where few people would embezzled thousands of people's life's savings yet nothing will happen |

helinues: The worst is Nigerian education system. Even in holidays, the kids are not even free. One extra lessons or the other. I just feel those incharge of the world are scared of what the human mind can create especially when free and less pressured. I just feel the matrix stuff might be real. |
| Re: The Current Education System Is A Modern Day Slavery by helinues(op): 4:27pm On Mar 22, 2024 |
9japride:When would they have time to learn skills? Even holiday lessons dey just to consume the precious time of the kids. It was design to continue enslaving people It's actually a long way process |

Why won't you question the education system with your poor apology of grammar construction. What we should question is how our education system produced someone like you. Where did we miss it? School is not a scam bro. Go back to school. |

helinues: My advice to parents is to engage their children in learning skills such as coding, tailoring, carpentering, cake making, mechanics, etc while on holidays. Nowadays those even living well have one of those kind of skills. |

9japride:I have actually watched lots of documentaries while on banning, education, society, how people behave was designed. During COVID-19, the rich people in the world earned $6tr in profits while 80% of the people were in hardship. Pandemic, recession, BLA BLA is just for the rich to continue getting richer. This modern day slavery could be worst than the old one. Don't even let us talk about the social media effects , phones effects, games damn we are f.cked. The laws are for the poor Very long way thing oo |

9japride:Russia vs Ukraine, Israel vs Palestine na USA reflection funds for the president, the senators and Legislative members irrespective of Democrats or Republicans. USA never sent a dime to those countries but instead in Aids $bn, Hamas also received Aids in millions of dollars prior to the war, who are the contractors of those aids, the politicians, did they deliver all those aids? You know as how it dey go. So from my own thinking, why should I give a damn about created wars which is just to benefit some few people. When they are done killing themselves, they should let us know. |

Education isn't slavery. It's an enlightenment platform to enlighten one's mind which is important and necessary. A society without education is hopeless. That said, Education needs to focus more on the technicalities of it. First, I hope Nigeria universities stop gatekeeping their technical courses such as, health and engineering courses for example. The universities should allow a lot of students to be admitted into these departments. Some universities would even set up the cut off mark of such departments to 90%- 100% which is quite steep. That's why some of our best brain leave the country. I believe 60% - 100 % cut off mark is good enough for brilliant students to be admitted in such science/health inclined departments while 50%-100% cut off marks can be stipulated for the other departments and in some other departments, 40% - 100%. Point is, it would even be the students who would switch courses if they realised that they couldn't cope in such departments. So, there's no need to gatekeep such departments but instead, efforts should be focused on how to produce numerous technical brains into the society. That's what build a nation. Hence, education should be more focused on the technical aspects of it. In fact, the universities in Nigeria should have its own industries. Instead of building more school buildings, the university should also focus more on building more industries💥 For example, agro industries combined with large scale mechanised farming, mechanical industries, chemical industries, electrical industries, construction industries, Ranches etc.. Imagine if each university have all these? With these, university Students can easily work as part time students while also getting enlightened. Of course the students have to get paid for their work in the industries. Hence, the students are enlightened in several areas, which also include the technical aspects therefore, can easily replicate same after they graduate from the universities thereby, leading to a more developed nation. Also, while working in these school industries, the students should be given more room to use their brain and creativity to produce materials, products, machines etc that are useful in the industries, farms, ranches etc. As a matter of fact, Nigeria Government should empower the universities, especially the federal and state universities to have all these because this will help in the development of the society as a whole, apart from the students, in the sense that it will help to produce several products needed in the society, thereby increasing more production at home. Of course Nigeria universities do produce technical brains (for example, Nigeria health workers are excellent) but it need do more hence stop the tight gatekeeping and also ensure the universities have got more industries, large scale mechanised farms, ranches etc. As for the secondary schools, artisanships could be included in the secondary school curriculum. Secondary school Students/pupils could be engaged in one artisan or the other, combined with some extra curricular activities 📌 As you can see, nothing is wrong with education. It's an integral fundamental foundation needed to enlighten/brighten one's mind with knowledge, thus making it easier for other useful things to be easily laid upon it. |

helinues:You are the one getting everything wrong. Education is not about the system. It's more of an agenda to push the mind to information and knowledge in areas of interest,it is purpose and will driven. It is not subject to going to any academic institution. Unless You want to talk about the Academic institution, this are two different things. |

9japride:The academic institutions in working society offers one the best platform of Education. It offers variety of knowledge based information to push Your mind to knowledge. Honda was Educated as a mechanic, after doing a project that was a massive failure,He went to school to educate His mind better. When He had got all the information He needed He dropped out. Infact the school sent him packing bcus His grades was a maximum Disaster, but guess what, nigga became a massive Success after the information He had gotten from the academic institution. Point is the school can actually help You develop your skills better. If You dey learn music by yourself and your friend they go music school, who go get higher hands in terms of materials for learning?? |
| Re: The Current Education System Is A Modern Day Slavery by 9japride(m): 11:08pm On Mar 22, 2024 |
Tochi360: The only aspect of education that is good, is specialized training. Eg plumbing, weldering etc and maybe music because these days entertainment has already become a skill. Though, the one that went to music school will do better, because it's a specialized training. I was only referring to the kind of system of education in the country especially for younger kids. It does not give them enough time to develop their creative minds. Even the whites that are good in education, their kids don't really carry school on their head They prefer to go to technical school to learn things like warehousing, HVAC, weldering, plumbing, electric works etc. |

Dsimmer:So basically, Education simply enlightens one's mind with ideas and knowledge. Even prior to the western coming to Africa for example, IFA was already enlightening the Yoruba about a lot of things, such as, what formed the world, what formed the body, the several creative ideas on how to use these materials for the development of the society etc.. That should tell people how important education is. |
