I'hv being trying to give reasons to my parents on living alone as a young adult. I gave them an example that what if i was a afrobeat superstar, would i still be living with them in the same house even at age 23. And they were like is a no no no for them, because i still need them for guidance and counselling. But all the training they'hv being giving me is already enough for me to be independent. Afterall, it is only GOD that can guide and counsel one into any step we take in life. Abi?

My brother, still enjoy the free housing and free meals for now since you're not been pressured while you keep working harder. It will save you lots of money that you can divest into other ventures.
I left home at 19, it was funny but God still saw me through.

There isn't much need to rush if you are an undergraduate. You can be at school and come home for few weeks and once you are 24 you can stay on your own

There is no hard and fast rule to these things. However, what do you do for a living and what is your income range?

Well if you think you can afford to rent a house and feed yourself and provide for them from that new apartment, then it's time

If you already have a girlfriend or a boyfriend to settle down with and you parents already approved the relationship, then it's time

If you are ready for children incase they start coming and you have made proper plans for them, then you are ready

But if you want to rent a place for you to have freedom without future plans, then it's not yet time, operate from home till you are very capable and have good plans for yourself

The child is only a mirror of his parents because he inherited their genes and he’s just acting base off the information encoded into his DNA passed on by his parents. Therefore, if the child is a disappointment, the parents need to look at themselves

When you start having kids and groom them through teenagerhood you will understand why some behaves out of their inherited Gene

Before we decide, what source of income do you have? What are your reason "goals" of moving out ( to feel like adult or i'm old enough to start living alone is not a concrete reason for a 23yr to move out) ? Are displine enough to miniminize giving into women? "self control"

You are me. Don't make the same mistake I made. I went from my parent house to marriage.
I never lived as a bachelor for once in my life. Not a good experience. If you have your own money, go rent and furnish, even if it is one room, it will be way better than living in your parents house for now.
There are important life experiences you should learn as a man away from your parents.
