Hehehe! Gowon was the youngest. Let's see the geriatrics that have taken this nation to the doldrums over 54 years of failed nationhood. |

The point is that those praising Senegal for electing a 44 year old should know that Nigeria had even younger leaders in the past. Their youthfulness and ambitions caused more problems for the nation. We need the energy of youth and the experience of adults to run a country efficiently. We also need to stop comparing Senegal with Nigeria. It shows how much disregard many have for Nigeria. As someone mentioned elsewhere, Senegal is not as ethnically and as religiously diverse as Nigeria. It is barely the population of Kano and we see how hotly contested elections are in Kano. Can Peter Obi and Atiku learn lessons from Senegal? Yes! By accepting a graceful defeat and preparing for the next elections by pulling forces together. Both of them attempting to collapse the country because they lost is the ingredient of being an evil wizard. 3 Likes |

emkz: Nigeria had younger rulers in the military era, accidental leaders not chosen by the people. I haven't seen anything to suggest Peter Obi or Atiku is causing problems in Nigeria after they were declared to have lost by the supreme Court. Or are you running when nobody is chasing you? |

successmatters: If they are not causing problems, why do they rush to issue statements whenever soldiers are killed, but never issue statements when soldiers record successes against terrorists? Why do they attempt to undermine the president, especially Atiku who always attacks Tinubu when it comes to financial matters Atiku lacks understanding? For example, when he attacked Tinubu for instructing CBN to take over sale of crude oil from NNPC? Atiku conveniently forgot that FG is the majority shareholder of NNPC. Same Atiku in his attempt to undermine Nigeria, took election litigation to the United States. Which other country in the world have you heard taking election litigation abroad? |
