How can you pity a Nigerian politician to this extent?

People that don't care about anyone but themselves

1. I will pity him because I'm human and I can't even fathom what he must have gone through in their hands.

2. I will pity him because he has a family who will be worried sick about his whereabouts and how he is faring

I know most politicians don't care about the people and they embezzle and all sorts but that should not make me celebrate their downfall
