I (29) female currently going for a second degree, due to some reasons I travelled home. Now my mum won’t let me go back to my base in preparation for my exams and sch runs she’s saying If I have to go it has to be with her tagging along which isn’t appropriate. I feel tied down cause she is used to getting her way and every decision I allowed her to make in my life has always gone south I am training myself for this degree. Tonight she raised a topic of my bf not picking her call all the time I tried to see reasons with her I don’t know the reason for him ignoring her calls besides I don’t think it’s appropriate she communicates with him so often. At my age I don’t think I need so much restrictions anymore please advice me cause it bugs me

if i may understand you well, your mum want you to get married, if so, then try to understand the angry she is coming from and do well to get married in as much as you are currently going for a second degree.
