HOLY THURSDAY: SHAIBU JOINS CATHOLIC FAITHFUL AT MASS FOR THE 'WASHING OF FEET'

Despite facing numerous challenges and attempts to derail his ambitions, Rt Hon Comrade Philip Shaibu remained steadfast in his pursuit of a higher calling - to become the next governor of Edo State. His dedication to his people and his unwavering faith in God fueled his spirit amidst the storm of opposition.

On Holy Thursday, a solemn occasion in the Catholic calendar, Rt Hon Comrade Philip Shaibu, a devout Catholic, joined the faithful at the St. Agnes Catholic Church. It was a time for the 'Washing of Feet', a symbolic act that humbly represents the selfless love and service exemplified by Jesus Christ in the gospel.

Philip Shaibu was joined amongst other twelve for the washing of their feet, as an act of which serves as a picture of Jesus' ultimate mission: to serve humanity through His humble death on a the cross

This was not just a religious ritual for Rt Hon Comrade Philip Shaibu; it was a profound reflection of his faith, despite the challenges and obstacles that lay ahead, he remained focused on his goal to lead Edo State with grace and honesty.
