Hello nairalanders,pls I have been distressed since 12pm. I went to agodi gate to buy a part,so I parked my car by about 13feet away from the traffic light very close to the culvert by the left and quickly ran into the market. I didn't take up to 10mins,by the time I am back.i met ortyma toeing jeep already tied my bumper and were towing the car. I pleaded with them,but it all fell on deaf ears,they ignored me and still took my car to their office and secretariat and slammed me a bill of 45k as fine. 15k for illegal parking and 30k as towing permit. Pls what's the way around this because I do not have such amount of money at all.pls who can help me out.my car is now parked and their office and locked.pls I don't want the car to be vandalised .pls help me out pls.

I had similar experience last year around ojoo bus stop (infront of garage park) . These people deceived me with sweet words that if i get to their office , their boss will just pardon me , on getting there , the boss told me to bring 20k . I begged before they agreed on 11k .

Those people are idio.t.ic crooks! I was driving down from Lagos, at around same Ojoo, while driving behind a long truck, these people just suddenly threw a plank with nails in front of me, forcing me to a stop. They quickly surrounded my car and claimed that my passenger side tires weren't on the tarmac and that it was a traffic offense! I never ever heard such ridiculous claims before except, of course, the one somewhere in Delta where it was claimed i didn't have radio permit!! Anyway, long story short, N15k was extorted from me!
