Slower bus= 80 km/h

Faster Bus = 160 km/h

Speed of the slower bus to be X

Speed of the faster bust to be 2X

Total Distance apart = 240 km/h

Remember, Distance = Speed x Time; where time = 1 hour

Total distance apart = total speed x time of the slower bus + total speed x time of the faster Bus

240 = X * 1 + 2X * 1

240= X + 2X
240= 3X

X= 240/3 = 80 km/h

Speed of Slower bus = 80 km/h

Speed of faster Bus = 2 * X = 2 * 80 = 160 km/h
