Like 2 weeks ago, I noticed a bird was nesting near my window. I didn't bother to check what kind of bird it was since it's normal to accommodate every animal trying to put to birth.

So 4 days ago I noticed it was a dove. The birds husband was always coming around. He is always making that their deep sound. Although that sound was nauseating I let them be. It's their nature.

Today, when I got home from prayers, I saw that the bird had just 1 baby from the 2 eggs she laid. I found it disturbing and I have been wondering. What could have caused it?

If she laid 2 eggs, the 2 eggs should have become two children. But one egg is unable to Crack.
I have been wondering, we as humans too, we put out time and emotions into some efforts. We hope those efforts will yield positively. But it's often not the way we wish it will be.

I hope the second egg cracks into a baby

The mother bird hasn't been around more often than before.
So it's like, the mother bird instructed the baby bird to lay on the egg which has refused to hatch.

No I didn't.

The mother left yesterday morning and didn't come last night, she came this morning.
I wonder why it's the baby that is now keeping the other egg warm
