Virtually every state has a debt burden that are stagnating them except if they get allocation from the FG or borrow. However, these are times for the state governors to be creative and productive on IGRs so as to free their state from constricting loans and borrowing that previous governors and the FG have piled up for these states and nation respectively.

Imagine Sokoto State budgeting billions of naira for Ramadan fasting and the FG allocating 90B for Muslim haj pilgrimage in these times of scarce economic resources?

This governor that's shouting was the one who approved the said loans for the governor,he campaigned with the governor and he knew the true situation of things. Yet he went ahead to inherit the government. Even went ahead to be building a banquet with 7bn. This is someone who is claiming to be broke.


How these people reason is something I don't even understand

El-Rufai totally transformed the infrastructure of Kaduna State and significantly raised the IGR of the state. Unfortunately, he borrowed a lot of money to work on the state's infrastructure.

They is no way that states will be creatives and productives on IGR that will not affect the common masses in Nigeria. What you will say is that they should stop wasteful spending.

Like individuals do when they temper with spirit of wards to reach into the future and spend money in the now, El Rufai has spent Kaduna future on Muslim neighbourhood and areas. The creature is still power hungry and wants to eat his own appointed successor alive because they dare to expose the effect of his wickedness.

Same pattern was used by Buhari when he was printing money and sharing inside core northern areas. That money is now a loan(Ways and means) that all Nigerians must repay irrespective of who enjoyed/is enjoying the money.
