Only 3 Afonjanite states made the list.
Is this one retarded or something 😂😀😁

Dot in a circle that's not up to a state in SW are making noise here

Shame. You can see Ogun state with over 16000 landmass making the list which about 4 states in a dot circle 😁😁😀😁

These IGR mugus again. Which economics textbook told you that economies are measured by revenue generation? There is a popular saying that "you cannot tax yourself into prosperity". This is why Obi always emphasize on production
Mumu see how you destroy your Pandora Obituary career

So Obituary knew about production yet the only thing he built was a Beer factory then he started massive importation of rubbish 😁😁😁😁😁😁

Your Lord is a dullard 😁😁😁😁😁😁

SS states are disappointing.

See Rivers for example, probably only Port Harcourt dey carry Rivers...

See Delta state, probably only Asaba and Warri, and there are other towns that have potential like Sapele, Agbor, Aniocha Nort and South etc...

What about Bayelsa?? What about Edo, only Benin Perhaps and Auchi... Choi

😂😂😂
You don't know Rivers , the Port Harcourt you are talking about is a metropolitan areas comprising of Port Harcourt LGA a d other LGAs.

Ekiti, gombe bayelsa are small states. It has nothing to do with size of states but population clusters
Who told you Gombe is small? Gombe is small in the North, not in the south.
Bayelsa is swamp normally and is extremely hard to build up.
As for Ekiti, it is on the list.

So are you saying it is more developed than the FCT which isn't on the list?

Ibadan is surrounded by empty bush unlike the east where small city with have endless sprawling countryside
Ibadan might be surrounded by bush, but when measured, the area of Ibadan's built up landscape alone will swallow thousands of square kilometers of medium density vilage sprawl typical of the SE landscape.
The advantage to the Yoruba settlement pattern is also that they have ample virgin land to embark of novel mega projects closer to their city cores without displacing too many people in the countryside; like the brand new ring road infrastructure that is currently being built to encircle the whole of Ibadan or the Ibadan dry port unlike the East where such developers would suffer to find large continuous tracts of land free of human 'obstructions' by way of villages and might eventually have to resort to moving very far away from the intended service area of the project....

That's one of the reason why people say the SE are the biggest benefactor of one Nigeria...
Beneficiary, not benefactor.

Oyo state land mass is huge. The stats is based on % dev per state. The total area of development in Oyo state capital alone is arguably larger than the total percentage of dev in some states that made the list...
Jokerman:
So Oyo no dey built up?? What about Ibadan ??😬

This is their eternal dilemma and problem, they hardly read and comprehend, and they just beat their chest needlessly.

Just a fancy word for Population density.

The smaller states will naturally be more compact. But by the time you do the math, you will see that the SW is the most urbanized zone in Nigeria by miles, with the largest total area of built up zones.
You can see that all the states there are mostly the smaller states except Ogun state whose population has already surpassed 10 million by now, pushing it into the list.
God bless u my dear..much reason why we need more states.. divide this states then see if real development won't follow.. my village is so much developing cux the improvement union is governing it hard..

When I saw imo state above Anambra was when I realized that the list is useless and doesn’t have touch with reality
So instead of accepting that Imo has overtaken Anambra in urbanization you'd rather discredit the list. Imo was 3rd for a long time but during the Okorocha government between 2011 and 2019 Imo experienced the most rapid real estate development in Nigeria overtaking Lagos and Rivers.

The average of the SE is about 22%. Is tbis what you call everything or hatred has blinded you?
idealogical:
This stats is actually not in favor of the SE, but as usual, they don't pay attention to the implications.

The SE has the smallest landmass in Nigeria, 3 times smaller than the SW, but they've used up nearly everything and another fact is, their small land mass cannot contain their population.

Now, since you've built up your meager plots, what do you have left for your future generations to build on?

If you have 1 plot of land and I have 3 plots of land, who go build up their land first.

Besides, building up means nothing, it's all about what you build and the quality and are they productive?

You cannot say you built up and still remain the poorest region with the smallest re revenue generating capacity in Nigeria.

Qualify is always better than quantity

You are a well known frustrated miserable fellow. In what way did imo state overtake Anambra? Anambra still has the larger population than imo state. Anambra still have more cities than imo state. Most imo indigenes still live in Anambra , Anambra is still far more developed than imo state. so how does the useless data make sense to you? As far as real estate is concerned, Anambra is number one in Nigeria aside Lagos and Abuja . Take this to the bank

From the same Statisense.

SE is the smallest region in Nigeria, the SW is almost 3 times larger than the SE.

SE is too small to contain its population, so they always leave their region.
Just like the Jews and Europeans, they're widely spread across various areas in Nigeria with valuable entities to their names.

You mean as tiny as Lagos state is compared to other states in Nigeria 🇳🇬 together with the huge population, about 66% of the land is still left fallowed? shocked shocked shocked Omonile, we still have more work to do grin grin grin

Imo State even though the second smallest state in the East in terms of landmass with quite a huge population made an impressive developmental impact sad

Enugu that I think with its level of development and numbers of cities and towns in the state and how popular it is still has more than 90% of fallowed areas shocked? Well, the state has quite a fair landmass in size; largest in the East.

As for the Northern region, the huge landmass amongst most states made any developmental impact a drop in the ocean angry angry ;, so make we cut them some slacks!
lolz I don laff tire on top this ya comment especially that a 'drop in the ocean'

you get mouth shaa
