Next Of Kin Can’t Access Funds After Account Owners’ Death. What Is Your Reaction To This?

The account owner died without signing Payable on Death (POD).

There is nothing like POD in Nigeria banks...The only way the next of.kin can access a deceased fund in the bank is via letter of administration or through the administrator general of the state.

You need to reason the state of Nigeria to know that the banks are worse than the politicians.


The only way a next of kin can have access to their deceased bank account is for the deceased to have made his ATM pin and app password known to his loved ones. Other than that, Nigeria must happen

This is where you.see that both government and banks are theives and that they were lyig and deceiving everyone when they said they would honour NOK.

Some elderly people do use withdrawal slip. Anyway, bank app is a good idea but in a case where the ATM has expired I don't think there would be a way out. As for the bank app, it is easier.
