The long stretch of Benin Iruekpen Ekpoma Ewu to Jettu junction is just like this....they claim the road is federal Government road....and the state is collecting taxes from this region....

Ekpoma is a major Town in Edo State. The Road that passed through Ekpoma connect the Northern part of Nigeria to South South.

However, the road has been in bad state for so many years. Truck drivers spend weeks in Ekpoma due to the bad roads.

Tell them that by year 2270, a good leader will emerge from Nigeria to systemize everywhere in Nigeria. Most of the people of the southern regions don't look beyond the nose.
Nigerians are waiting for the good leader instead of dividing the most dysfunctional country into more manageable countries.

This is eyesore! That road must be fixed immediately. Is there no governor in Edo state ? Does it matter if the road is federal or state owned ? Ekpoma people should protest by blocking that road and never to be reopened until government,federal or state,is ready to start work on it!

Obaseki installed a very big signpost, indicating it's a Federal Road and nothing concern him about the road.
