Even when you report an ongoing robbery incident, they won't show up, this is not US.

EVEN GHANAIAN POLICE ARE BETTER, Nigerian police that will go and pack okadas in the midnight and carry them to thier station.

Going after them immediately could lead to an ambush situation,they know the police will come. They could also kill his uncle in the ensuing gunfire exchange.

He could as well collect one gun and attempt to go after them and see why they refuse to go in.
